Attention RNYC North Shore Co Owners:
The RNYC Board of Directors has authorized emergency action on the north shore parking lot and accessible effected common areas. Due to extreme erosion, we will be bringing in various size rocks and filling the holes. While this is not a permanent solution, this will buy the marina time to assess next steps. This is in addition to the French drain that is still planned to be installed this spring.
Slips impacted: All North Shore slips between the former boat lift and to the East end of the parking lot.
Actions being taken: Rocks will be put in ANY seen whole or depression. The board will have approximately 5 yards of rocks delivered to the north shore parking lot. We are also renting a bobcat to more easily move the rocks.
When: Saturday, May 1st and Sunday, May 2nd
How does this impact North Shore Co Owners? At this point, existing decks will not be moved. If owners want rocks put under their decks, it is the owner’s responsibility to remove their decking to allow access.
Owners and renters are welcome to help in this emergency, just bring some gloves and a shovel. It is all of our marina and the safety of our fellow boaters is of the highest importance.
