Mark your calendars! Our 1st work day of 2023 is scheduled for April 29, 2023
We have 4 major projects.work day will be mid season – feel free to drop me a line on what you might want added to that day‘s task! -Laura, Work Day Committee, and your RNYC Board
1) Bathhouse: we are replacing fascia/soffets with new painted boards, as well as painting the doors, etc an updated navy color to match our sign. We need people with tools (drills, hammers, ladders, paint brushes, rollers….) to assist! 2) New fish hanging board: Rachel Ridley and her husband are so thankfully donating some rough sawn lumber from their mill for a new fish hanging board! Craig Chopp is also donating his time for a metal sign for the board (we are just paying the cost of the materials) stating RNYC/Sportfishing/Port of South Haven – TBD. We need people with tools (hammers, drills, post hole diggers, paint brushes, rollers….) to assist! 3) Planting: It’s time to add on to our garden this year. We need PLANT DONATIONS if anyone has anything! We will also need people with tools (shovels, shears, etc) 4) Head Dock: Time to do a safety check, walking the head dock and making sure all boards are secure and no nails/screws are sticking up. We need people with tools (drills, hammers…) Please sign up texting Laura Strong 269-352-6696 or email at lauralee219@hotmail.com Thanks all – let’s continue to make this marina more and more beautiful!
